This TOOLS section is devoted to technologies used in a variety of aspects involving hazard management. The tools in this section support the Hazards and Disciplines listed in those respective HAZARD-Tech sections and can be searched for in those sections as well.

Note: The TOOLS section is dynamic and expanding at all times, so please check back often.

Each tool category below contains a separate list of tools with a brief description, link to the source web site, and link to it's HAZARD-Tech page that includes technical information such as FAQ’s, audio-video demonstrations, self-quizzes, training materials, presentations, links to related calendar of events, contact information for support, user forums and more…

Desktop-based software with a specific emphasis on hazard management

2.       Web Applications 

Internet-based, interactive software with a specific emphasis on hazard management 

3.       Data & Map products 

Applications and web sites that primarily serve data and/or static maps

4.       Field Data collection 

Technologies that are primarily used for data collection 

5.       Non-Spatial 

Technologies that are not geo-spatial; they do not display/analyze data with regard to it's location on the earth

6.    Other Applications
